Canadian Solar was founded in Canada in 2001 and was successfully listed on the NASDAQ Exchange (CSIQ) in November 2006. Today the company has seven branches in China and a manufacturing plant in Ontario in Canada, that it has successfully founded and wholly owned subsidiaries.
